#KCSELeakage KNEC is the Ideal Cause of Exam Leakage

A total of 525,802 candidates are sitting for the KCSE exams that is expected to end on November 5, large-scale education was not developed to motivate kids or to create scholars. It was invented to churn out adults who worked well within the system.

BUT does the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) really care about these students. Many would say NO! From KNEC handling the teacher’s strike without caring about the student’s interests to probably what is happening right now. When there is full evidence of exam leakage, the Kenya National Examination Council have maintained that the papers and questions being circulated were fake and still urges the candidates to ignore what they term as rumors.

A student from an undisclosed school has confirmed that the mathematics paper doing rounds on social media is indeed the one that candidates took, despite conflicting statements from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).

According to a source who requested anonymity, the leakage has increased rapidly, and candidates have the papers well in advance.

“The KCSE exam papers are now leaked up to two days before the test. They are dispersing these examination papers through WhatsApp and other such mediums,” confided the source.

The Nation team apparently managed to buy copies of Mathematics Paper 1 which were sent to some candidates on October 21, hours before the exam.

“What is happening is disturbing. I have personally talked to my students and they have admitted that it easy to get the examination questions in advance after paying KSh 1,000,” the paper quotes a teacher in Vihiga county.

With such evidence, at least the council should take harsh decisions which shows they have interest in getting ideal results from the kids. KNEC is trying to finish the job instead of getting the job done, sounds the same but one means getting the best out of what those kids are.

And to the Students who’ll read this, “There are more than a thousand ways to reach your dreams but I can assure you stealing is not one of them. {You can’t steal dreams}
